The definition 'Short Range Device' applies to: Closed-circuit television (CCTV), Radio frequency identification (RFID), Local Area Networks (including Wireless LAN), alarms, remote control, medical implants, etc. All three — CCTV, RFID, and WLAN — are Short Range devices/technologies.
