All three — bats, bees, and birds — are pollinating agents. Bees are the most well-known pollinators. Birds (especially hummingbirds and sunbirds) pollinate many flowering plants. Bats are important night pollinators for plants that flower at night (like agave, bananas, and many tropical fruits). This type of pollination by animals is called zoophily — and includes insects, birds (ornithophily), and bats (chiropterophily).
